Presented by Egon Willighagen (Maastricht University) and  Nina Jeliazkova (IDEAconsult Ltd.)

18th May 2015, 5 PM (Central European Time) / 11 AM (US Eastern Time)

The EU FP7 eNanoMapper project is developing a data management and analysis infrastructure together with ontologies supporting the safety assessment activities of the European nanomaterials research and development community. Previous dissemination activities already showed features of the solutions being developed [1-2]. This webinar will demonstrate how the eNanoMapper database Application Programming Interface (API) can be used to extract data to be visualized in graphs [3]. A short outline of the API will be provided. On the client side, this API is used in this presentation by the ambit.js JavaScript library to select data which is then visualized using the d3.js library. Examples will demonstrate how this technically works [4] using the example eNanoMapper database instance [2].
