Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to respectfully ask you about my possibility to become a member. My name is Dhanya Thamaraparambil Jayaram, and I am currently a Postdoctoral associate at Duke University, NC, USA. I obtained a PhD degree from National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST-CSIR, India) and an MPhil from Cochin University of Science and Technology. I have worked in the field of photochemistry, advanced self-assembled functional materials for theranostics and also nanotechnology for nine years. In addition, I have published numerous papers in prestigious journals such as Sci. Rep, J. Phys. Chem. B, Org. Biomol. Chem., ACS Chem. Biol., SMALL and Nanoscale.

I have performed 80 reviews for journals including Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology B: Biology and Journal of Controlled Release, Bioconjugate Chemistry, International Journal of Nanomedicine; placing in the 98th percentile for verified review contributions on Publons up until June 2018.

 I have got enough experience in doing the biological studies involving cell culture, in vitro cytotoxic experiments, photodynamic therapy, fluorescence imaging, FACS, western blot, PCR from Instituto de Quimica Avanzada de Cataluna, Spain during my stay there as part of Indo-Spain Collaborative work and also through my postdoctoral experience in Georgia Institute of Technology, USA and currently  Duke University.
